I had a blast photographing, yoga teacher and friend, Audrey. She helped me test out my new (well not so new) Hasselblad camera that dates back to the 1950’s. I purchased this camera in hopes of ‘slowing down’. With the digital age, almost anyone can be a photographer. You can take 1,000 photos before you get it right in the camera. I purchased this camera in hopes of going back to my roots. Back to the traditional art of photography. Back to loading film, and exposing in the darkroom. This is where the magic happens.
Audrey studied yoga at Metamorphose Yoga, where she became a yoga instructor. Audrey teaches Vinyasa and Restorative classes with an emphasis on alignment. You can catch her Monday and Wednesday, 7am at the Kauai Athletic Club in Kapaa, as well as Thursday, 6:30pm at Metamorphose.
